I'd like to suggest a more intuitive inventory. For instance, right now the default folder for just about everything is Objects. If we don't clean this out almost daily, it gets crazy!
Would it be possible to have pre-set sub-categories? For a quick and sloppy example:
Objects .... Created objects (for building. It would be nice if all those anonymous 'Objects' had their own folder to go to.)
.... Items recently Purchased or received from others. (Easier to find)
Maybe a few others, but this would go a long way toward reducing inventory clutter. Please give this some consideration, thanks.

While we're talking about the inventory..
It'd be REALLY nice to be able to use shift+click in the inventory so i can purge large chunks of my trash at once.....

I'd like an option to go back to the old template system instead of this annoying bag system.

I still would like to see more information than just the name of the object in the inventory list... Several columns of data (prim count, timestamp, creator, permissions?) that we can also SORT BY. Eggy, what template system? Oh, and even if new interface features like the ability to sort inventory aren't going to be added to the next (1.1) release... I'd at LEAST like to see the order of objects remain constant! When you need to dig through the trash for something, even something named, and you have multiple copies there, the most recent should ALWAYS be at the bottom! As it is now, the most recent is usually at the bottom, but it might not be. This means I have to drag every version out into the world to find the most up-to-date copy. (And if it's just named "Object"... Forget it!) So: One more vote for sorting and multiple selections! Oh, here's an idea for ya... How about if double-clicking an object in your inventory opens a window with the 3D model in it that you can rotate and manipulate just as if it was in the world? Well, perhaps editing it would be too much to ask for, but It would still be nice to examine it to see what it is without rezing it into the world. Show the rez cost into the window too, so we can see how much it would cost beforehand.

Oh man, I was going to suggest something just like this...anything to provide some identification of the five hundred "Object"s in your inventory!!! DIFFERENTIATE MY OBJECTS!!!
