I think it would be useful to be able to set land to rent via the land options. It would work like buying and selling land except the 'purchase' would be for a limited period. When someone rents your land, they would effectively become its owner, taking over all your permissions during the rental period, except, of course, the right to sell the land! Also, the landlord wouldn't be able to sell the land while it's being rented out. If the landlord defaults and the land reverts to the Governor, a sitting tenant would be secure for a limited period, with the rent diverted to LL.

There would be no more messing with creating groups and worrying about group members using more than their fair share of prims.
Just an idea, just me thinking aloud!
