I know it must have been asked tons of times and its not exactly a feature, but I couldn't find any thread, blog, issue tracker, nothing about it. The inner top part of the tight deforms very badly when the avatar spreads legs. How long would it take to a skilled modeller to redo the joint deformer on this part ? Just spread the deformation all along the tight, instead of having it restricted to 3 rows of vertices, this way the distortion in texturing is spread aswell and much less noticiable. This way we could create clothing that keeps a good appearence, shorts or boxers that lookk good, or better skins, its such a little detail , so easily fixed, that prevents so many fashion work... Come on Regards

tights are a complicated zone, it bend on almost 180° on a real human, also, rebuilding the SL avatar is kinda out of the question as it would probably break existing content, at least for now

no, not rebuilding, just sliding the existing vertices on the relative key corresponding to spread leg. No need to change topology or mapping, just making the deformer a bit more smart.
I don't think this would have impact on existing content.
