Is there any way to fix it so that people who make custom hair and skin can have their name shown as the creator instead of "newbie_template"?

dunno how to fix it, but i would also like to see this end.
it's just one of those annoying things SL's always had, but the programmers forget to fix.

Chip,
What you don't know is that newbie_template IS the fix. Back when I sold a few skins, I had to get Jeff Linden to manually change permissions on every single one of 'em because they all magically had "Dan Linden" as the creator and I couldn't even sell them because it appeared they didn't belong to me.
At least with newbie_template, you can sell them and transfer them.

Interesting Maggie. I didn't know that. Maybe they can just add Template as a last name choice and I'll make an alt named newbie_ hehe
