I am noticing a trend lately in SL. Last night when I logged on I was greeted with a barrage of notices, notecards, even two gifts from some place I dont know. According to the person spewing out the items, I visited her store some time within the last 6 months, and was added to a list without being asked if I wished to participate. The group invites to places I have never been are also getting out of hand, I am assuming they are joning one of the groups I am already in, and spamming all the members. In my opinion this is nothing less than telemarketing. I am on the national DO NOT CALL list, I refuse the religious pamphlets they try to leave at my door... but how do we get the spam in SL to chill a bit? I am hitting MUTE as fast as I can :) Can there not be a DO NOT CALL list in SL? It takes 5-10 minutes every evening to go through all the crap when I log on, and it is making the SL experience less enjoyable. Hell I am scared to shop now, I dont know what I will be added to without knowing! Is there any way to get a "SPAM" button for unsolicited group invites, objects, notecards etc without having to fill out a complete AR or is an AR even a recourse? Thanks in advance :)

*points up* Yeah That!

Seriously people, if I want to be part of your group I will join. Stop the insanity that is spam. Just because I visited your store months and months ago doesn't mean I want to be inundated with your crap!

It might help a tiny bit to untick "Automatically accept" in Preferences. You still have blue notices, but at least it's not a pie in the face like with automatically accepted/opened things.
