Permission inheritence

It would be nice if objects created by llRezObject could inherit the run time permissions of the object doing the creating. Either by default or as an argument to llRezObject.

Example: I was thinking I would like to make a present gun. This would fire presents, the present would pay money to whichever avatar it collided with, then die. Right now, each present, when it was created would have to ask for PERMISSION_DEBIT, annoying for me.

Example 2: As discussed in another thread which I am too lazy to search for, it would be cool to have a backpack attachment full of "stuff" that you can call out for. This could be done by dragging stuff on to your avatar from inventory, but this way is cooler, and faster (you know, for "emergencies";). Under the current system, any attachment pulled from the backpack has to request PERMISSION_ATTACH.

Wed,

May I volunteer for your target practices?

Actually a gun like that would be really nice for payouts at events.

Yes, but there is a small fee to join the beta program.

I was going to use it to cause havoc at crowded events by firing it in to the middle of a crowd, but your idea is good too.
