Version 1.6 will have the ability to show objects on your land by owner, and return them with a click from the land dialog panel. So this should help.

Broadly, we need to have systems that fairly allocate resources in a sim to the landowners that are there. Certainly it is NOT ok to 'borrow' sim resources without asking - but what is the right policy or technology to enforce this? Thought welcome.

Suggestions. Assume there is a baseline "minimum" allocation for "Visitors" (non-landholders) in a sim:

1) Maximum Active Script Buffer Usage by Resident/Group vs. Land Allocation
2) Maximum Number of Aggregate Event Calls per Minute by Resident/Group vs. Land Allocation
3) Maximum Amount of Referenced Storage Space by Resident/Group vs. Land Allocation
4) Maximum Amount of "Temp On Rez" Prims vs. Land Allocation.
5) Shift the caps on New Additions by "Visitors" (instead of landholders) to the sim downward as resources are (ab)used.
Runner: To maintain rights of those already using "Land Scanners," this fix would optimally coincide with enhancements to the land-finding system.

The idea here is to offer mechanisms that can accurately "guage" just how much of a hog a resident is on a given sim, and to a lesser extent place a limit on the usage of some proven hogs. I know, from practice, that it's very possible to achieve things without being a lurking nuisance on a sim - but sometimes people need to be beaten with a Clue Bat a few times to realize this. A system-backed resource tracker of this nature would aid that. ;)
