Don't set newly joined group as active group

Hi,

I join/leave groups very often based on the information I need.
Every time I join a group, it is set as my active group and shows up over my head (unless I choose not to show it) and all the objects I rez are then set to that group.

What's the point ??
The group over my head is supposed to be my favorite group, so why change it with every new group ?? It's nonsense.

Active group should bear to be the one we manually set as so. ("none" in my case.)

I think part of it, and I am thankful for this, is that in many, if not most, places where you can rent space for a vendor, you have to be part of a group.

Where the "Just joined group coming up" comes in handy is when you want to set up, you join the group, you can just set right up without having to dig through the 20 or so groups to find that specific one. It just makes life easier for those of us who do this and I, for one, applaud the concept.

I see, so if some need it and other don't, it has to be possible to toggle it on/off.

How about when you join you get a little dialog that comes up "set as active group" or "not" with an option to remember.

Yeah, I'd love the option to toggle it on/off. I rarely need to instantly activate a group I've just joined. More commonly, I need to switch back to the group I had set active in the first place (having to dig through the 20 or so groups to find that specific one :p)
