I am thinking of proposing the following idea and would like some feedback before doing so.
Add a new menu item on the Pie Menu of objects called "Info". Like sit, it could be modified via LSL. The unmodified event would be to give a notecard to the avatar who clicks it. An event, "info", could allow a behavior change, similar to "sit". The default notecard would be the one named the same as the object.
The reason I see a value in this comes in a few areas. For example, I want to sell an object, and have a notecard available for the potential buyer to read. It could be copyright info, purchasing restriction info, etc.
As a teacher, a single box could contain two versions of the class material. The pay version could contain "modify" versions of the components, while the LSL coded "Info" pie slice could pass a folder containing the "no modify" version.
