A new soda to keep our avatars feeling cool and refre-wait, no. Rather, an option to refresh the screen without the hassle of logging out and then back into SL. I've noticed on occassion, too often, that something will get messed up somewhere along the line, and an avatar will have a completely wrong bodytype on my screen, and maybe one or two other people's screens, but look correct to everyone else. Other times, animations will be messed up, again not for everyone, but some. This problem is often solved by logging out of SL then back in, however it just seems to me that it would be easier to hit a refresh button and let SL rerender the scene from scratch, without logging the user out!

Oooh that would be cool. I usually use the tp away and back method, but still a pain when you're in the middle of something.

Or how about a Logout option, instead of just quit? This would facilitate easier logins for alts too.

Problem with that one, for me, is that if I am in the middle of something, I don't want to quit OR logout.

Have you people tried changing your group? That seems to force an awful lot of stuff to refresh. It's an ugly hacky workaround but it works.

It fixes the invisible avatar problem, yeah, but I've actually seen random ghosted prims floating in midair (things that somebody was wearing, then they TPed away and for some freaked up reason their prims stayed behind) which weren't fixed by it, people who look naked even though they've been wearing clothes since they first logged in, etc.
