I find it frustrating that I pay 70 some odd dollars to linden labs once a year for the "right" to send them MORE money to pay in tier and land costs.
Wouldn't it make more sense to adjust tier based on your enrollment date? I.E. the longer you pay into the system the lower your tier will be respectively?
If product loyalty has absolutely no reward then its just a matter of time until someone else "make the better moustrap"
I'm not suggesting huge changes....but as a long term mainland buyer...a LITTLE something would be nice.

And I find it frustrating that someone has created another thread whining about the price increase despite the fact that there are probably at least a hundred other ones by this point all whining and saying the same thing, most of which are still open.

I find it frustrating that you obviously didn't read my post..as I don't care about the price hike...I buy MAINLAND....not open sims.....learn to read my friend.
Seriously....Everyone deserves the right to voice their opinions....why you would want to shut those down is beyond me.

I don't really see what's so special about old people that they should get some kind of competitive advantage over new people. If anything SL needs more new people and incentives should go to newbies to encourage them to stay.

My apologies I did just skim and missed that part. It would be quite nice if long term stable landbuyers on the mainland could get a tier discount (after 1 year 5%, 2 years 10%... etc) but I think it would take a structure and some overhead because then they'd have to make sure it only went to people keeping the same plot or plots in the same sim/area the whole time and also to prevent adfarmers and other "undesirables" from getting it which people would demand be a condition.

Elanthius, they probably need incentives to attract new people since, correct me if I'm wrong, my understanding that the number of new residents is dropping off but they also need to give incentive for people to stay and contribute to the world.

If a reward were given to those newbies who choose to stay then MORE of them might choose to stay. By your own logic you support my plan. ..and I thank you for your support I know the only reason I stay here instead of going off to some new shiny grid is because of the OLD people...so lets not knock em
