I think this may be the place for this post, if not no doubt some kind soul will politely advise me differently. IGNAT is a new group I am setting up that stands for Island Griefers Notification And Termination.

I am an estate manager of two islands and have an island on the books waiting to come online of my own. I mooted in another thread that it would be a good idea for island owners to band together into a group that protects each other from the perrennial griefer. A bit like the way shopkeepers in the UK warn each other of criminal elements happening in towns. It should work very well in SL because of the island banning tools.

If a griefer hits one of the islands in sl who belong to IGNAT then that island owner or estate manager immediately notifies the group of the griefing avatars name and suddenly the avatar finds themselves severely limited to only mainland or sims that have not joined the group.

The cost to join is nothing and it may mean that a lot of islands may at last be able to lift the no info payment ban. So free accounts that are reasonable people do not get added together with the idiots who try to grief us all. Also the odd payment info used who decides to grief people will be covered too.

If you want to join the group look out for it from the posting of this message, and if you don't want to then perhaps you can find a better way short of banning all no pay info's.

So look for the group IGNAT or contact me in world.

a) This isn't the correct forum for this. This forum is for suggestions to the interface or server functionality, not resident organisation.

b) It already exists, under other anmes (yes, there are multiple versiosn of this schemee running independantly. Yours is just one among many, albeit the newest).
