My suggestion, is that land owners get the options of deactivating nametags, and/or minimap icons for their sim. This would greatly enhance some games and events done on a sim. As a soon part owner of a combat/RPG sim, I would like this feature so we can have players sneak around and perform "espionage and sabotage". Nametags are always sticking out of places. If you make a game where hiding counts, you'll have trouble hiding. With this feature there's all sorts of games people can try to make. Minimap icons also give away a persons position as well, but are much less needed and even if they are not removable by sim tools, if namtages are, hiding is still VERY useful for games.
The vote is prop number- 2371, under land management, come vote for it!!!

I strongly agree with this one (someone else made this proposal as well). This would be perfect for RP and combat sims, especially the minimap part.

<uses a radar hud from an attachment, rather than minimap, and runs with display breifly.

While, yes, you can achive the effect with attachments, there's the all too easy ability to cheat by turning on the minimap. And it'd be undetectable cheating too, I would think.

minimap and nametag features are handled on client-side... so an alternative client will be able to display them regardless of the land setting.
