Now that groups will have to consist of 3 people...
I can understand the reason for wanting to discourage groups smaller than 3 people. It's hard to think of anything you can do with a group of 1 or 2 that can't also be done without a group at all.
But we found a use! For our NAV activities we noticed that the group name that you make active is tacked onto the start of your full name when that display option is in effect. So I show up as "Running Bird Mac Beach" due to the fact that I created a group by that name with just me in it. (Running Bird = Penguin, get it?)
Anyway, it would be nice to allow each user to have a nickname, or some other way to temporarily modify the way they show up in-world. Seems like it would be an easy mod. Otherwise, to achieve the desired effect we will have to form groups of 3 to join each others groups to keep them active so we can have our Indian names. A horrible workaround.

Oh Yeah!!! I didn't even think about this!
I have a group named something obnoxious, and it isn't listed, and it isn't open. I only have it for the purpose of randomly changing my Title to suit my needs. So, either *bleh* to the 3 members thing, or give us fun nicknames that we can edit, or remove.

Fourteenthed! Great idea Mac.. it certainly makes a lot more sense than keeping around groups with only one person. It's not like you can't look up who the officers are in Find Groups, right?
And.. wouldn't it be Waddling Bird? <ducks>
