Third Option for On Start Location

I had a situation come up where both my home and last location were one and the same. That Sim was temporarily down, so I had a hard time re-logging on. Thus, it would help to add a select box to the Preferences dialog allowing users to choose an alternate regional hub.

On that note, it would be nice to be able to set a number of in-world preference prior to logging on, such as logging on with Busy mode already enabled.

It *should* automaticly divert you to another sim... I've had that happen. I tend to wind up in the old-west town in Oak Grove when that happens, for some reason.

Well that hasnt happened to me in quite some time, but in theory it should just plop you down right outside the dead sim.

It should (and does, for me) plop you down at the edge of the nearest up sim.

I've ended up in the southwest corner of Oak Grove after sim crashes too, and sometimes from a very long way away from Oak Grove. I bet it has to do with it's proximity to Da Boom. Da Boom is the 0,0 point of SL and Oak Grove is the first sim west of it. Maybe if there's a conflict like this after a sim crash it tries to put you in Da Boom minus your offset from the local 0,0 of the sim you were in and Oak Grove is the sim that matches this point in relation to Da Boom because you ignore the two empty spaces between them. That doesn't make any sense. It's just plain weird that we end up in Oak Grove sometimes.

It was probably just an isolated incident, then. I re-logged approx 3 times before I successfully logged on and arrived at the home location. Even then, the login stalled for probably two minutes before it resolved itself.

Still, it would be nice to be able to set an alternate on-start location than last location or home -- especially if you are logging on to build/script and need some alone time. That could be handled by being able to set Busy preference prior to login, I suppose.
