Movement arrows visible in edit mode no matter what the zoom level

I would love to see an option to have the x,y,z (red, green, blue) movement arrows visible all the time, when editing prim(s). I spend way too much time zooming in to see details, then zooming out to see the arrows so I can make an adjustment, then zooming back in again to see how close I came, then zooming back out again, etc, etc.

An option to see the movement arrows all the time on screen, no matter how closely zoomed in I am, would be VERY helpful and speed up my building tremendously!
