Personal organizer and calendar

Hi there

I'd like to suggest a feature that could improve our virtual lives a lot. SL is a very social thing. Sometimes I find it hard to keep track of events, meetings, talks, lectures, parties, jobs and business meetings. The different time zones used and the different activity hours for people living in different continents complicate the issue even futher. Now you have to be in groups to get invitations and updates, set meetings and so on. But groups are limited and the windows popping up can be annoying sometimes.

All those problems could be solved by integrating a calendar and personal organizer into the communication center where you could add *events* to groups or people on your friends list and link them to times, dates and even landmarks. Times could be shown in SL time, displaying your costimized local time conversion next to it. When an event comes up, a popup reminds you of it and tells you about the items you linked it with (people, objects, landmarks and so on). Events could also be created from the world menu and then be linked to a landmark: "come back here tomorrow at 9 PM".

What do you think?

I would use it for my RL as well as my SL! I believe there may be something out there like this, but it's not a direct feature of SL.
