I had 100 small items float off-world and end up in my lost and found. (don't ask! lol)

It took me FOREVER to delete these items one....at.....a....time.....

Can we PLEASE have a way to select groups of items for deletion? Seems this would help you Lindens in the long run, because it would help us clean up our trash and inventory and free up server space. We have a lot of c**p in our closets but it's very tedious to throw it out the way things are now.

There is a way already: Ctrl + Left-click on each object you want deleted. But I think that applies to only objects in a folder, not sure if you can do that in multiple folders or not.

You can.

Same as the windoze explorer. Holding shift will select all items between the first and the second click. Holding control will select multiple items. Then just right-click any of the selected items and choose delete.

This works for your inventory window, but not for the contents of an object. That'd be a feature request :)

Also, the ability to move multiple items at once (to another folder) via drag&drop would be nice.

Also, when building, you can select a large amount of stuff by dragging on the ground while in edit mode. It will make a filled yellow rectangle and mark all prims inside it as selected so you can link, move, or delete them.

I can not purge more than one item at a time from my trash. I have nearly every item I deleted, since May, in my trash because I have not figured out how to purge more than one item at a time. I can not select multiple items there by holding ctrl or shift like I can in the other folders. I just do not have the hours and hours it would take to purge each individual item. Anyone know a quick way to do this?

Also, it seems that with each new version it takes longer to delete an item.Seems to me back in 1.0 deletes were near instantaneous. It takes nearly 10 seconds for me to delete an item now, from the time I select it and press delete until the time it disappears.....Anyone else notice that?

Right click the trash folder and pick "empty trash" or something like that

That 10 second delay is probably your 6+ months of trash being moved around so the UI can show your newly deleted item as being in the trash folder when it redraws your inventory.

Like was said earlier, right-cilck on your trash folder and select "Empty Trash"
