The other day I kept on crashing when I was attempting to create some scripts. After my second crash I couldn't log in at all and I desperately needed to finish these scripts and send them off.

So I thought to myself, wouldn't it be great if there was a program, like WordPad that would act in the same way as the scripting window, but outside of SL. It could give you the same options, the same LSL Functions, the same error codes. . . Of course it would be hard to make hovering text or change the texture on the side of a WordPad program, so it would probably have to be like a beta testing program that you could input your script(s) and it would give you feedback telling you if errors would happen or if it would work perfectly.

I've searched a little bit for a program like this but never actually found one, so I did a brief search for this suggestion in case it was suggested before and I was repeating someone, but I didn't find one.

Any way, in short, it would be great if LL could make a 'Script-Pad' or something to that extent. :D

more general instead of using notepad/wordpad tor text editing, try "Notepad2", it is much more code friendy.
