Is there an ASCII or HTML version of the LSL Guide? If not, why? Even plain ASCII, deprived from any and all fancy features is better than PDF. Thank you.

Huh? The LSL Guide *IS* in HTML? You can find it in your Second Life directory, it's named lsl_guide.html. Converting that into ASCII is just two mouseclicks :)

Thank you very much, you're too kind The inworld link from the Help menu broke a while back, and all I could find was the PDF guides. Once again, I can rtfm!

You can also copy and paste from the html into in-world Notecards. You'll need about 3, but you can fit the important stuff on 2 (everything up to appendix b or c). It won't do anything good for inventory download times but it sure beats alt-tabbing!
