Your servers suck and log us out.

Then when we try to reconnect, we get a message saying the system is logging us out right now... Which is a lie. Or the last one was. Your last error message just told me I've been logged out!

So which is it, assholes?

I don't mind an error message. But at least make them say something that's not complete BS.

The one you get when you lose the connection, that one is probably the lie :)

I would assume that "you have been logged out" is a message which is obviously issued by the client if he loses network connection.

This doesn't imply that the server knows about it already - so the server will start to log you out after some timeout (or leave you as ghost forever), maybe at your next login attempt. At this point you get the second message.

Maybe linden should rework some error messages or tell a bit more about the reason for logging out - but there are much more software products on the market that even won't tell you anything in case of problems.

What I would like to see is a better recovery in such cases - this would also better support wireless environments.
