Newbie group...

Wouldn't it be nice if all the newbies belonged to a group as soon as they joined Second Life? If they had problems, they could just message the "Newbie" group.

The group could be comprised of all the newbies, plus the Linden Liasons, plus the Mentors. It's the Mentor's job to help out newbies... why not do it via instant messaging?

You should also put it in the Prelude island... have a little notecard that tells them how to message the group, and have the newbie message with a "hi group!" Makes everything seem friendlier, don't you think?

I've met alot of newbies in the last couple of weeks who just have no idea what the hell is going on. They need direction of some sort.
