llDialog box now only have 5 lines of viewable text!!! wtf! We have gone from having 7 lines of viewable text on dialogue boxes to 5! One of the lines we lost is simply a blank line enforced on us! ------------------------------------------------- Script Dialog: <--- can we loose this? isnt this obvious??? {name}'s {Object} <--- lets make this line one blank line <---- OMFG what are u thinking? Menus have scroll bars now, thanks! line 1 line 2 line 3 line 4 line 5 -------below this causes a scroll bar ---- You have stolen 37.5% of the dialog box menu real estate when u only need 12.5%! Please fix it  PLEASE! |

Made another post on this... It has totally ruined my dialogs in which I needed 12 buttons plus all the space that was there,. I agree on getting rid of the *Script Dialog:* at the top and maybe putting it up there... And yes, get rid of the forced space... What were they thinking?!?!? I can't imagine how many peoples dialog menus have been bunked from this, I know mine have.  |

Also, if you think white-space is a "waste" then you don't know much about layout and your dialogue boxes that they "ruined" were likely pretty ugly to begin with. I would agree that removal of the "Script Dialogue" and replacing it with the object title would have been the best solution, but perhaps this just wasn't possible in a technical sense without borking something else. |

i fully agree with this
but on a side note...
ive always wondered why the box couldnt just expand downwards abit, instead of a scrollbar (limited of course)
jeez you have 12 buttons and not enugh room to list a more detailed discription for all of them
llDialog remines me of old computer menus "press 6 to do this" as it is now its unbalanced

LMAO how about: Owner Name's "Object Name" query: when group owned drop the "Owner Name's" including the 's or Owner Name - Object Name query: This means if its group owned u get: - Object Name query: However an object can be called ' ' ie. a singe or more spaces. So if it is group owned and called ' ' we would get: - query: I would say: - Add in grabing the Groups text name
- Don't let objects be allowed to be called white spaces
I suspect you want to not query the "main" server for Groups actual names when Group owned? And doesnt that leave open the same abuse we are trying to fix? |
