I dont know how many times I have deleted an object on accident and been lucky I saved it , other times not so lucky.
But for the times I did save it, it is a pain to pull out of inventory and reposition if it is a complex project...
Another nice undo would be delink undo. (for those massive elevator junkies out there you know why im asking for this)
It really stinks when you have a physical object linked up such as an elevator, or a wildly running scripted object and forget to uncheck physical and shut off the script.
Having this feature might also cut down on the pieces of scripted projects flying about in all directions.

I would also like a general undo that would undo that last move, rotate or stretch.
On a similar note, to the runaway objects, a drop down list of the last 5 objects modified/selected would be -really- nice. That way I could get ahold of that run away object, change the script and reset its position and not just wonder where the hay it could have gone.

I'm sorry about posting all over about this, but I have to say I think that 'last-5 modified objects' pull-down is a great idea. Why? Because, for me , it would help me find my darned missing object

Regarding undo, if you get one level of undo, you may as well get 10 or 20 levels of undo. Undo is great!

if you keep your trash folder cleaned up then you pretty much have an undo..... ANY item you delete goes into your trash folder...if you delete attachments when you are changing clothes? Trash folder....that thing has saved my butt numerous times when i forgot to save an object and deleted it....(i had a LOT of "objects" to look through though .....tip...if ou have a lot of the same name...the last one is usually on the bottom

I ment a step further, ever try to realign something intricate after deleting it by accident a few times? really annoying lol. Therefore an undo would put it back in the previous spot so no need for realigning

How about a command that can STOP an object dead in its track. Like an object with a script and with physical that is spiraling out of control. You could just do the key command and it will STOP.

Ama, not sure if you know this already, but there is an undo in the edit menu, ctrl-z don't depend on it too much tho, it's still a bit buggy - for instance - undoing a scale on a linked object will only unscale the parent object.
Jack, you can turn off an object's physics with llSetStatus(STATUS_PHYSICS, FALSE); beware, it may have potential enery stored up, and if you step on it, it may shoot you into the stratosphere. =]

Ahh cool, will have to try that. Will it undo an accidental drag?
