Greetings everyone!

I have already made a proposal on this earlier (prop# 2658), but thought I would also mention it here to get some community reaction.

What I propose is a way to better organize our friends list by being able to add groups or folders to it that we may then place our friends in. It would make it far easier to tell at a glance who is online by interest. For instance, if you owned a business you could have a group entitled "Employees" with all the people that work for you in it. Maybe you could even have sub folders under that and if you owned a club you might have groups titled "Dancers", "DJs", "Hosts", and so forth.

I think you can all see by now where this would be of great benefit to many of us with growing friend lists or just the urge to keep all aspects of our Secondlife better organized. Let me know what you think and if you like the idea please feel free to vote on the proposal.

Thank you all for your time.

Would be very nice for organising things!
Also even better would be if you could use these to quickly toggle online visibility and/or mapping on/off for a particular group. So if I'm in a foul mood or otherwise can't be bothered with business related stuff, then I switch off visisbility for business contacts but let my friends still see me.
