What would REALLY be nice is if the avatar would angle itself automatically according to what z-direction it was flying in.

Failing that, I'd like to see two new animations: one for diving straight down and one for diving at an angle (sort of like the two extant flying animations.)

These are specifically for flying downwards (optionally with some x/y motion as well) at a high rate of speed.

Seconded... if we are fliers we should look like such. Our head should point in the direction we are moving at all times, instead of the current "crouch" animation that is even worse than the old one back in beta...

Dive animations would look cool to see on other AV's.

I only use mouselook to fly. If you dont routinely fly in mouselook, it takes a little practice to get used too. I feel you have much more control of flight. I rarely fly in a straight line when going places. I am always looking for bridges to fly under or other intresting obstacles. Mouselook gives you the real feeling of a dive, if that is the intent of this request.
