After playing Second Life, I find that the naming system does not supply enough creativity. I believe that you should be able to make up your own name, not just picking a name from a list. This is a second life, right?

I'd love that. I've been using the name "Crazy Canuck" for years now in Active Worlds and ICQ. It would have been nice to keep it in Second Life as well.
