You know those hateful "EVERYONE BUT ME IS BANNED FROM MY LAND" lines? Well, my neighbor has those, and they're ruining my view. It's his right to have 'em, but I want to stop rendering them. Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have a toggle for that? Thanks.

Seems simple enough. We have so many options on how we can render the world, we ought to be able to not see those ugly red barriers.

Good idea, but it might still be nice to render them when you collide with the border and for 5–10 seconds after the collision stops.

Not much point. If you actually crash in to them, you get a pop-up box that tells you you're not allowed on that land. The red lines are really only useful as a) a warning before you run into the border, and b) so you can see how high you have to go to fly OVER the banned area.

*Edit: OK, so once I typed this, I realized that option b) is exactly why the 5-10 second render would be useful, so just forget I said it was pointless, OK?

I endorse this feature/idea.

I agree, I agree! I have new neighbors who've put up a ban. It's bad enough that I keep running into the wall on my little 512m lot, but the lines are a terrible eyesore. It's perfectly within their right to ban, and I don't have any problem with that. Everything else can be toggled in the debug menu...I would think that could be an option to toggle as well. I just shudder to think if everyone surrounding me did the same thing...

I agree. I dont mind being banned from someones property. but those lines show up through walls and such. there are so many ways to stop others going on property, those lines dont need to show up like that affecting all other properties around them.

Those lines are invading on our property by showing up and we can't do anything about it?

Wow, I never even thought about that. It's amazing how something so trivial ban be such a nusance.

Down with lines!
Up with uhh... something else!

endorsed. but not as a debug feature. that resets every log. i want a permanent off. in fact, i don't even want the five second display. i can just fly up and over, i don't have to see exaclty how high to go. i don't really look now, just hit pageup and head forward. it's apparently not very high.

i remember in asheron's call we could turn off house shield effects. i deactivated them the day the feature appeared and never regretted it.
