Nothing like a place or three to call home

I have two places where I spend most of my time in SL. Its my homeland in Mauve and my shop in Luna. As I can only chose one of the places as "Set Home to Here" I have to teleport through a hub to get to the other place.

So when I swap between these two places I have to fly from a hub to the one place not set as home. This is terrible annoying - i need to go to Mauve to check 1 thing then right back to Luna, I spend too much time lagging around the hub, flying to my destination before I finally can check that 1 tid bit of "thing" and go back to wherever I was.

Ok, enough rambling, what i want:
What I really really want is an option for setting 2-3 key places as home. To teleport directly at. No flying, no hubbing, no nonsense. Just take me there.

Yes, Yes, Yes and... oh.. did I say... yes! Listen to Matina, Lindens... she speak wise words.

But lemme tell you what I want? You know the 'My Land' summary?

Well I wanna be able to teleport directly to any of the plots I own, just like you do when you tp home. I KNOW where they are on the map, tyvm. I KNOW where the nearest telehub is. But it's my land... let me tp to it, mmmkay?

And where Matina is wise Kris is no less than an oracle!! :D
One addition - My land AND My group's land. This is all we need (- in *this* matter I may add lol).

Its kind of odd, when you mouse over the Teleport button in My Land it says "Teleport To The Middle Of This Property" or something like that, yet we don't. So I would like to be able to teleport directly to the center of the property as it says I should.

Also, I would also like to set more than one "home", I say give us 3-5 and call them "Hot Spots", "Favorites", "Direct Teleports", or something simular, and then have one out of those that you set as your "Home" (for people who don't start out at their last location but always log in at home).

Sometimes things I'm scripting get up and walk away...

I'd like to be able to IM an object... and have it offer me a teleport.

It would be great when I loose stuff.

Unless it just went offworld. What happens when you end up back in your own lost and found folder? :p

Ah... but who ya gonna use it on, Oz?

Jordan for suggesting a kinda unrelated feature suggestion... me for the silly comment, Hawk for perpetuating that off-topicness (ooh good phrase, huh?) or Maxx for the completely-non-SL-related Ghostbusters quotes?

Personally, I think you should shoot Maxx for being sad enough to remember the lines...

Its a multi-targeting-homing device. :)

Bust a cap in all yah'lls butts with one shot! :D

I must also use it on myself for also posting off-topic.

Which is sad because this is a really good feature suggestion too! :P Shame on us all! SHAME!

Ghostbusters rocks!!

Ok. Now to take this further off subject than anyone thought possible... I just had to post this after you mentioned Google. Yes... it should be in General - Offtopic. But we are already generally off topic. So shoot me. Oh. Already did! :D

That, and mile-high billboards.

The internet and Google make mile-high billboards instantly available?

Wow... I want one, where can I download one?

Sio.

Naaw... lets just shout louder...

*Stands next to Matina, holds up a mile high billboard and shouts 'WE WANT HOT SPOTS WHERE WE CAN TP DIRECTLY AT AND WE WANT THEM REASONABLY SOON LIKE SAY IN THE NEXT PATCH SINCE IT SEEMS THAT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO TP TO THE MIDDLE OF YOUR OWN LAND PLOTS ANYWAY SO WE'RE REALLY ONLY ASKING YOU TO FIX FUNCTIONALITY, NOT FOR A NEW FEATURE!' *

Hmm. could do with a slightly catchier chant...
