Select texture-Select Face would be nice

I think a Select Face under the Texture tab would be a nice feature. Would allow for a more controlled map of textures upon any given obj. Especially ones that have been cut.

Under the edit menu there is a 'select texture' option (right under 'select individual') that does what you want I think.

You hit the radio button for Select Texture. Then you click upon the face that you wish to modify/set the texture for. You'll see a big white circle/bullseye thingie on the face that's selected.

It's not on the texture "page" of the edit properties, but up above it -- below the Focus / Edit / Create buttons -- there are Radio buttons -- Position / Rotate / Stretch / Select Texture / Select Individual

So, after you're in the Edit for an object, click the radio button for Select Texture, then go back to the object and left click once on the face that you're wanting to modify. Unless the current texture/color is too light, you'll see a white bullseye thingie on that face.

Now back to the edit properties window, Texture tab. Selecting a new texture or color or changing the repeat or offsets will only apply to that particular face.
