I've been trying to learn how to script, but I rarely see any scripting classes scheduled. I have looked at the Linden Scripting Language Guide, but I tend to sometimes learn better when I am shown how to do things rather than read about it.

I am going to schedule my first scripting for non-scripters class sometime late this week - I'll let you know when I do. Is there anything in particular you really want to know how to do?

All I need atm Ano is Basic Scripting Skill Class and I believe Pen is looking for the same thing.

We need either a "basic scripting 2" or a more extensive basic scripting class.
The classes i've gone to learn scripting have glossed over the basics, but I already knew that stuff... I want to learn if/else statements, variables, loops, and whatnot.
Syntax, even.

So we're talking a really basic, basic scripting class? I could probably do one of those, I've been meaning to set up scripting classes.
I can only do early afternoon slots though.

Scripting 101 is obviously very basic and aimed at non-scripters. Lance does a piss poor job at it but Jericho's class is very informative and adequate for all noobs. I have often suggested a 201 class that would be slightly less basic. I even taught it once but david scolded me for not following naming conventions afterwards  Here's hoping that the SLU people get their act together eventually... |

I could make myself available to "tutor"ish sessions myself; I don't know if my teaching ability can handle an entire class. Of course, I never shut up so eventually something I spout out might make sense.
