Does anyone else dislike the new inventory? I liked being able to close the inventory to close all the folders. Very simple, very easy.

Before: Open the inventory, open clothes, open shoes, select a pair to wear. Close inventory and open it again, open Objects to look for the latest blouse I bought. Drag it out and scroll to Clothing-Blouses, put it in, pick up the box, close the inventory. All simple.

After: using the same scheme as above, but add scrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscroll , close Blouses, scrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscroll, close clothing, scrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscrollscroll, close objects

Closing the inventory window to autoclose all open folders is a -GOOD- thing. Please bring it back.

I agree.

did you also notice that some folders seem to open for no reason? I didn't take an object out of that folder, so why did it open!

I _think_ it opens folders when you pick stuff up from the world, but I'm not sure.

As for the scrollscrollscrollscrolling, yeah, can we have some kind of "Close All Folders" option on the file menu please?

inventory option

I completely agree as to how annoying this new inventory is, it "remembering" what folders where opened should be made and option, instead of forced on us, so should alot of other changes, but that's for other threads

Agreed, a "Remeber Last Opened"/"Don't Remember Last Opened" option is definitly needed. I'm often in a hurry and don't have time to close the folder, then when I'm in a hurry again and reopen the inventory suddenly I have 50 folders to close.

Agreed - this inventory window was one step forward, one giant step backwards in useability. Please put in an option to close all folders, or better yet, just put the behavior back to 1.1's window. The sort by date feature is nice, but the amount of scrolling required in an already unintuitive inventory window is horrible.

atuomatically closing folders is good. i also don't want it to pop open every time i pick something up or take a card.

I also like the fact that (in 1.1) when you took an object, you had an immediate opportunity to rename it. Now, it is too easy to end up with several objects named "Object" in you inventory.

I agree, this new behavior is very annoying. However, there IS a workaround in the meantime: File > New Window, close the old inventory.

Agreed, as well.
