Lindens please read

* Weld - merge two objects together into a continuous strip panel or object, fluidly joining, not the same as link, creates a smooth finished shape bigger than the one prim max size. Needs a reverse command of Break Apart.

* Align ( immediately moves and aligns any selected objects by left/right/top/bottom/ edges and/or by centre H and V. This would be invaluable in house building to ensure all same.

*Align Angle - makes selected objects assume exact matching angles, in any direction, and also the reverse of the angle of the first object for matching opposite sides.

*Opposite Duplicate - creates a matching duplicate of the object but the other way round in selected direction, so matching object but facing towards each other like bookends.

*** Mirror Texture *** why don;t we have this yet??? u can do it in 'Moove' easily and thats not half as complex as SL. Similar to transparency slider this creates Mirror finishes on object, with partial to total reflectivity and also can be applied one or more sides. This wuld make fabulous reflections for houses and sunglasses and objects.

** Inventory: Move to ( allow us to highlight files then chose which folder in our Inventory to move them all to instantly.

** Inventory: drag drop multiple files.. like the above this would save me hours !!!

*Color Shading/Fade - create objects and items with at least two colors merging at selected points on slider, from one end to the other. This shuld be added to color picker, to enable at least two colors to produce objects shaded, linear, radial and cone maybe in the various directions.

** Texture/Color Mix - allow objects to be shaded in gradients of texture fills AND color at same time !!

** Graduated Transparency- apply transparency as a fader from one % to another over any object in the various directions so we can have objects faded into centre, out form centre, side to side and up and down etc... also front to back
This would help creative art a lot and produce amazing houses and windows

****BODY variation size extension - like to see MORE upper and lower limit size limits put into the Appearance sliders on body parts, so the limits on min and max size of parts can be expanded from current ones. This wuld allow way more body shapes and variations, esp for those with designs where contrast is important to shape. I would like to know if the max block pixel or triangle ( whatever they made of) for the body parts coud be increased so that when ur on maximum size for a body part under an improved set up, u dont get the jagged square block edging extrusions and blocky look at the moment. It shuld be possible to help create the best smooth shape even with one part set at min and another at max. Can this be improved please Lindens?

These are my ideas since joining in Dec. Apologies if any have been already stated many times by others.

You're not going to see this in the next decade or two.

The existance of a single reflective flat surface somewhere in your view has the potential to double the amount of rendering needed to update the screen. Multiple flat surfaces are worse, particularly if you want to see reflections within reflections.

Reflections off curved surfaces cannot be done by graphics cards today. The only technique that can handle them properly is raytracing, and with current hardware, you're looking at framerates as low as one to two frames a day.

Many of the things you ask for have been brought up in previous posts. However, bringing them up again just shows the Lindens that we still want those features. Also, it keeps us older residents from wading through months of old posts to find our favorites to bump back to the top:D
