Catagories for friends list

... just an idea to think about ...

the longer you are in SL, the more people you get in your list ....
but it's not only friends, even closer bussines contacts are in there too.
so why not having kinda categories for the list - so it could be spillted up to several smaller parts where you see what kind of contact you have ... biz or private would be a great help :)

Whar we need is the ability to have a tree or sufolder structure in the friends list, similar to the inventory.

That's temporary. At some point you will look at your list and think... who are these people. Take a look at their profiles, still nada, I delete my lists every few months. Just the ones I have no clue who they are and have never talked to.

Enter ";(online)" without quotes in the inventory search field, and you will get your friends list (only the friends that is online). You can drag those contact cards into folders and arrange the friends list that way.

I never use the normal friends window, but instead have an extra inventory window open with this search in it, since I couldn't do without folders.

i agree, as well as customizable categories in the notes tab as well
