I have run into a small issue with notecards. I am going to skip the problem as it is very hard to explain and much easier shown and go straight to the solution.
Can we please add a feature that, like the script editor, lets you know when a notecard is actually saved.
This would be fantastic as I am doing things that require embedding notecards with embedded notecards (in some cases up to 40 links deep), and this bug has cost me several hours of already tedious work.
I would be forever greatful or if you prefer you can contact me in world and I can show you the issue I am running into and perhaps we can work on a more elegant solution to this issue. Thanks a ton!

To go along with Neil suggestion, I would like to be able to show a notecard. Like we can show a photo. Some times it is just easier to have someting comepletely written out and displayed for everyone to read, rather then have to hand out note cards to everyone, or put them in a box then explain to everyone they need to get the directions from the box

Along with showing the notecards can you make them so that there's an option as to whether or not they can be copied or modified?

Or maybe as an alternative to displaying notecards (which can be rather large can't they?) would be the ability to put plain old text on the texture of an object.
That could be in the same dialog where you set the texture, and color attributes now. A short-cut of dragging text onto an object would change that setting just as dragging a texture does. Most likely there would be a limit to the size of this text, I suspect if you tried to represent more than a few hundred characters on an object (since the interface would be converting this text to a graphic internally) the result would be too fuzzy for most people to read. It sure would be handy for simple signs and things though.

llDisplayNotecard(string name); // cannot edit or copy include INLINE textures. text formatting - bold, center, font... hypertext links. Yeah. I think notecards could be improved a lot

Thing about notecards:
CTRL+C.
So making them no-copy no-modify wouldnt really do much.
