This should be significantly faster than using llPow() to attain the same effect. We already have bitwise logicals, this should be a no-brainer to implement.

Sitting at the computer all day, I find I have to stand up several times to shift my bits cause my underwear starts bunching up.

A bit shift would be very nice :)

for the binary <-> integer conversion bit shifting would have helped. Ended up just multiplying by 2.

I would recommend you build your own integer power function as the internal one is for floats and looses precision with large numbers.
