I need a clock. I got this time bracelet thing from someone its nice but I need a we bit more. THIS for eample.

the TOP tool bar that has the FILE EDIT VIEW etc.. drop downs.

it is utterly empty wasting space. all the way on the right is my money (I think its my money it has a $ sign next to it)

Excuse me if this is possible but can I put a digital clock to display my local time next to the money thing in that toolbar.

its hard to keep track of time in world and sometimes I NEED to spend less time to goto bed for example. my first night in here (last night) I accidentally stated till something like 0400 local time !!! I had to get up at 0900 that morning :-)

so a time clock that I could glance at that was always there would be REALLY REALLY nice (please)

Thanks

Thirded..

(4am... ouch.. been there!)

In the meantime, (for PC anyway, dunno about Macs) you can run SL in a window, so your Windows taskbar and clock are visible. Edit->Preferences->Display - tick Run in a Window.

Introducing the Tcoz Timer Service.

Click it, it takes your name, and asks for how many minutes you'd like to elapse before you get notified, "TIME'S UP!!!" with 5 IM spams.

Free service (as it's very easy to build). I'll put it in two locations, one at my arena build in Varney and the other on my rooftop in Natoma. Best I can think up off the top of my head, since putting an alarm on an object you carry around is no good in a no script area (like the welcome areas).

Great suggestion Nerys. I know this isn't exactly what you want but eh maybe some will find it useful.

..and further yet..

a clock in the empty space that tells PST, game time, & your current location time (ie EST)

..would also help when "gaming" and dealing with auctions at the same time.

agree.

Something like this:
(where EST is replaced w/ your region time code of course)

"5:25 PST (8:25 EST)"

Simple and effective.

Done with the in-game object, you'll find them at The Vorago in Varney (big metal looking game arena thing), the roof of my house in Natoma (brick/browstone thing precariously perched on a hill), and in the Terrain terrain in Game Dev 2 (on the end terraformed field).

I limited it in increments of half an hour, up to 5 hours. You can only set one request, but can remove it if you want and reset it.

There's a memory checker to help stability...it will let you know if it's too full to take any more requests. Unlikely at this point, and if it does get a lot of use I can up the capacity beyond 16k, but for now we'll see.

Oh not 5 IMS, three. 5 was a lot.

Test it if you like, tell me if it doesn't work. I kind of just banged it out, but it seems to work. For now don't use it to get up for work ;p

Was fairly interesting to write.
