Why is it that we have to constantly re-enter our password when surfing around the SL website?
I would like to see that if you login to SL site that you remain there until you log out. It is so annoying to have to redo password everytime you switch between certain screens just because you havent been there for 20 min or 30 or what ever it is..

My cookies are on. I still have to relog a few hours later. There've been several threads on this subject, but the Lindens aren't saying a thing.

The SL website's cookies apparently have issues with non-IE browsers... but usually, everytime I mention this the person who's having an issue says "I use IE", so oh well. Thought's out there.

This is a really annoying problem.
I can't use IE on the secondlife site because it will ask me for passwords to get from one place to another, but once I have logged in, the next time it asks me for my username and password it tells me it's invalid!
So I have to use Netscape, just for this one site.
And yesterday I tried to change my profile using Netscape, and it asked me for my username and password to do so, and then told me they were invalid.
So it appears that there is no way I can change my profile.

Psh. Whoever told you that this site has problems with non-IE browsers was lying to you, or screwing with your head. I use IE. Most up to date version there is.

I've always found it annoying (I have to re-log all the time on both PCs and a Mac), but now that there are US$ auctions inside this site, it's probably a good idea to keep it secure. I don't want someone using my account to bid US$1,524.23 on a 512 m2 plot behind my back or anything...
