Hey. This Age sex thingy brings up one question I have. What if someone is caught with loads of child pornography on his account, but it is not his fault?
This brings me to this.

Recently, quite a few noobs who i just don't bother to report anymore, made up lies about me involving greifing, and decided to take my punishment into their own hands by spamming me with textures, notecards, and telemarks. Thereby forcing me to quit SL, and not get on for another hour or so or until they finally decide it is time to relent.

I have a proposition. How about every time someone sends you a texture, OR a group of textures, the reciever gets ONE popup message asking him or her what they want to do, whether it be moot the sender, which would take care of the potential threat alltogether, or to recieve the stuff. In fact, as it is, the reciever doesn't even know WHO sent the spam, most of the time. But doing something about this would solve a lot of greifing, and potentially a deadbeat court session in real life about someone beind spammed with child pornography.

Thank you, and I hope you vote on my proposition.

Lets put an end to these file spamming n00bs.

edit* i didn't realize this was already being discussed.

But on another note, i did make a proposition, but i can't seem to get the URL to make a link from this post..... uhhh how do you do that

It's definitely needed to stop all the picture spamming. Hell, I just want an option so I DON'T have all the images pop-up, same with when I'm uploading pictures, I don't want them to open up as they upload, I want to upload in the background and carry on scripting, instead I get a ton of pictures popping up that I've already seen.

With the Recent Items tab in inventory one possibility I thought of was to have a "New stuff" or more appropriately named tab which is where all uploads and items you receive go to, you can then move them from here into your main inventory. Stuff in it shows up searches as normal, but otherwise isn't in your main inventory, so you can then skim through at leisure and decide where to put it or delete them if you don't want it.
This would go well with the pop-up idea, as all the items in question can be marked with a unique key for that 'transaction' so that when you get the pop-up (either while you're online or if you log-in later) you can click Keep or Discard to keep or discard ALL images that came in from that person since the last time you were logged in.
