Just wondering if a "Dynamic Draw Distance" would be useful.
e.g. Have Draw distance set at 64 after a TP and gradually raise up to your preferred limit.
Because I always forget to set or reset it.

Might allow the closer stuff to load first. Like when shopping.

I would guess that that is how the viewer works anyway but no it doesn't work well. Something called "Occlusion" I believe.

Only did a quick search for this. disregard if covered already. But point me to the thread please.

That would actually be a good addition. Quite annoying seeing grey all around me while everything in the draw distance starts to load. See a bridge in the distance, everything nearby still grey.

I think this would be great. Maybe even have that dynamic draw distance start out even lower than 64 meters (like 5 or 10) furthing forcing near objects to load first and allowing those with Draw set to 64 to see an improved load.

We used to have some kind of dynamic draw feature, didn't we?

Something used to happen when the FPS dropped below a certain point, and I think it was that the draw distance dropped, but it's been years now, I'm not sure.

It was. There were. I'm not sure why they removed it either. I think they said somethings about not working.
