I was wondering if they will ever get around to allowing us to "shape" the light that comes from a object. It would be nice to change the shape of light projection, path cut it, twist, taper and shear it like a normal object. It would be perfect for "lights" that only project from one direction (like a wall light lighting just the room it was in, and not the room on the other side of the wall). Now if LL wants to make improvements to the game, this would be one of the better ones.

i agree, but i would also like to be able to upload a texture now and again too (which i have not been able to do lately)
so basic functionality first, then things like shaped lighting
