I would like to suggest that if I am deleting a single prim, with a name like Object, and the default texture, that it would NOT go into the trash folder but rather be truly deleted.

Veto!

That default-textured, single prim named "Object" might contain my 500 lines of script that I'd very much prefer in Trash instead of being gone forever when I accidentially delete the prim :)

I'd much rather be able to sort the trash (and all inventory objects) by date so we can have the most recently deleted or taken objects at the top (or bottom). It would also be nice to be able to see the timestamps in the inventory, sort of like a standard file listing in most OSs.

Both sorts have benefits and not so good benefits.

Make it a preference thing that you can change to either ABC or date sort instead of an unilateral change one way or the other.

Come to think of it, does anyone use that dialog box that comes up when you doubleclick on an object in inventory? The only time I see it is when I forget and doubleclick instead of click-drag to rez it inworld.

Bleh, so make it work only for single prim objects with no inventory. You nitpicker, you :p
