I can't be the ONLY one here who has spent time working on a script, lost connection to SL without realizing it, and closed the window thinking it was getting saved, when I wasn't even connected to SL at all.

There should be SOME form of notification, when connection is lost, or when you go to save, telling you that your connection timed out, so you can back up any changes to the script you may have made.

I also would think it would be useful to have the LSL editor autosave every so often in SL's data folder, I have had unexpected crashes occur while I was working on something quite often, and scripts are the ONLY data you can lose due to crashes or connection lost, I think it's important for this to be addressed, as I'm sure NOBODY likes lost data.

Would anyone be for this, were it to be a feature suggestion? Hopefully enough people will agree with me to make a difference.

I can send you this HUD thing I have that is called a connection flasher. It blinks red and green every second as long as your ping sim is != 10,000 (i.e. ping timeout).
