I recently went on vacation to florida, and when i came back, some small changes really affected the way that i can play the game. During my vacation, people were limited to only having one voting booth, and in turn the income from that one booth was dropped significantly. Now you probably have all seen the insanely large tree in clyde, I, like, most of you out there, need the money from the voting booth to support my tall structure. If maybe they could raise the total dollars from votes, or lower taxes on tall buildings, i would be able to support a larger and more substantial creative building. Please support me in this motion.

First this is not an attack or coment on your building specifically.

I think that in this instance the economy is working as it should. Your tree is HUGE, effects lots of people, and therfore should require support of lots of people beyond a few votes. If the support you need to maintain a project can't be found then it is probably time to scale the project down until such support can be found.

If that is the tree near lonely island, it is very cool.
May I suggest you move the booth from the top of it to a place where everyone can see it.

This goes for everyone. Make it easy to vote. Each area or neighborhood should have all the booths accessible when standing, floating, flying. Centrally located in your little corner of your SL world.

When I vote in the Outlands, I fly around the sim, stop and hit as many booths as I can from one spot. I am sure many vote like this. Long distance voting is great. I can hit most every booth in the outlands from apprx 3 spots. Lag, in whatever form, can be a deterrent from voting, so make it easy for others to vote for you.
