Account History (Player -> Player Transactions)

Player -> Player transactions are horribly recorded and need to be redone.

* The following are my ideas, suggestions.

Remove Sales/Gifts as it exists today.

Replace it with:

Sales
Lists items you have sold, one of each, the price and how many you sold:

Uber Cool Flower Pot $40 Sold: 6

When clicking on one line, or in hover text when you hover your mouse over a line, show a list of who bought that item. Don't show items in this list you have for sale but havn't sold - only items that have sold.

Purchases
List items bought, price, who from and number bought

Uber Cool SunFlower $20 Bought: 1 From: Alek Wu

Gifts (Given)
List each person who you gave money to, how many transactions and total amount given.

Alek Wu Transactions: 3 Total $300

When clicking on one line, or in hover text when you hover your mouse over a line, show a list of each transaction amount for that player.

Gifts (Received)
The same as Gifts (Given) except for the data shown.

The hover text or extra lists are really extras and not required. The summary information would be so much better than what we get now (the first(?) 30 or so transactions and nothing else). It would also be great if each of these pages had a week summary as well as daily. I personally would even opt for only week summaries, your mileage may vary.

These changes would give meaning to the data in Account History - at least the non tax, non prim, non land parts.

Very nice, I'd also really like to know who has bought stuff that I've made, because I'd feel obligated to let them know if I made an improvement or bugfix after they bought something.

::nod:: I agree with ama... I run the bumper car ride in Luna, and about 60 $3 transactions come up disorganizadly in the gifts/sales tab in my account history... it gets very very cluttered.

The info listed by Ama would help. TY for putting that together Ama.

But some of us do need to verify individual sales with item bought and person's name. For example, when running a 'buy one get one free' sale, you need to verify the person bought the item before giving them a free item. And in the same situation, you need to do so on a daily basis - in the midst of a sale people don't want to be told 'come back in a week when I can verify you bought it'.

I would love to get weekly listings I could archive to my hard drive, to put together statistical sales info, or even to look up archived info, e.g., who has bought an item so you can distribute an update

P.S. Getting the missing transactions in Account History fixed is a #1 priority. I'm glad to see Ama note that problem -- it's frustrating to keep being told there are no missing transactions.

Ummm... aren't those supposed to be the same data? And I'm only about 10 hours into the day. The discrepency gets greater as the day goes on.
