I'm sure this has been brought up b4 but... How about a busy to everyone ...except... for who you have cards for, and while in this mode can't get bothered with unsolicited advertisements and popup card offers But also as a drawback to being in this mode and not able to be bothered with cards and advertisements, make it so ratings can't be recieved or givin out in this mode. I understand there could be possable issues with this, like say someone creates some trouble..rates a bunch of people negative then goes in this mode so they cant be rated... Maybe the only way to get rated in this mode could be under the find? dunno but when some people are really busy scripting or what else ever and a note popsup or a card popsup, well if you have a huge inventory and you have many of the folders expanded, and you out of not wanting to be rude accept the card, now you have to find the place you were at in your inventory. Then a min. later it happens again. hehe not saying I want to be anti social or a excuse to not look rude, but if the inventory scrolling isn't fixed when a card is recieved, we need something else.

Just do what I do, make sure you're inside a building, you know have a room dedicated to like a workshop. You can even close the door so noone can find you. You'll probably say well they can just swing in the camera and still offer me a notecard, very true, in which case what I do is use a kick tiki and turn it on. It's not rude, it's necessary as most newbs don't have any idea what you're doing.

Yea tru, but some projects require outside work over great expance of area I used to have a workshop, but as I have tried to cut tax costs, and for those who have just enough $ to work on their projects. They might not have the luxury to build a hidden workshop. HEHE I used to have a workshop 400m in the air lol. How about that for hidden

Now that in 1.2 there will be less pressure to keep cards from strangers, I'd like to second this suggestion. I've culled my cards down to people I know and I'd ike to be able to be Busy except to people whose calling cards I have. Very rarely I set to Busy because I only have a small amount of time to work on something and can't afford to be interrupted. But usually it's just because I don't want to be interrupted by strangers asking what I'm doing or trying to sell me something. It'd be very cool if I could still appear not Busy to people I know (especially my neighbors).
Not Busy Busy To Strangers Busy To All

I like this idea, maybe also add in:
Busy To All But This Group (from group folder calling cards)
Invisible Mode

I've wanted an Invisible mode so that you appear offline to everyone who has your calling card and/or in the Find directory. Of course they could still see you right infront of them if you were near them.
