If it were, it would make communicating much easier. For the moment, it wouldnt matter too much because the community of second life is still small. But when this game goes live, we all know it will succeed in bringing in the masses. Which will mean a rather large community.
With that many people playing, there will be a bunch of fan sites that include msg boards. (If you search for any massive multi player online game you'll find a bunch of fansites, with a bunch of msg boards.)
In stead of having to search every fan sight for info you need, you could just look on the in-game message board. Here's another example:
Lets say someone wanted to advertize something they wanted to sell... well, instead of waiting for someone to happen to come across it or sending a mass instant message
, they could advertize on the message board. Maybe I'm just lazy and like to have everything in one place, hehe.. but I think it's a good idea.Lynnix Muse
