1.)

In the new world map that so nicely tracks us and our lm's in it (awsome btw) how about a feature where we can double click an area in that map and a dialog popsup asking to fly/teleport there?

2.)

Next to the tracking of people on the map, how about add a IM button to it. Another way to easily do 2 things at once.

3.)

Im sure this has been suggested b4. But have the tracking list not show those offline.

4.)

Allowing a double click on inventory folders popup their own window.

5.)

A whisper button like the say and shout in the UI at the bottom.

6.)

This also has been suggested b4....Land for sale showing as a different color in the land tools map. also maybe a selection in view to see for sale land in world as a different color without having the editor open.

7.)

Being able to see the borders of owned land between 2 different owners in land tools easier.

8.)

haveing the dots on the map show av names when the mouse pointer is over them.

9.)

More catagories under Abuse and Bug reporting. Not sure what but lol would be nice for those things that just might not fit any or those that fit more then one.

10.)

Being able to tell the UI not to save a LM for every plot of land you buy.

11.)

Have a default scripted objects folder that saves scripted objects to that folder when you take or take copy.

12.)

In the pie menu under take and take copy have a secondary menu that allows you to "save to".

13.)

Being able to have more then one home point.

Thats all for now...Sorry Chris I know how ya hate too many features. But I am making up for lost time. :-)

I know you don't mind if these things are put off for later or not. And I'm going to reply with my thoughts on your features, assuming that they may one day be accepted ;)

1.
Very lazy, but what the heck, go for it.

2.)
Yes, IMing people is hard, impliment sooner rather than later.

3.)
No. I use the list of offline people to know if I have a person's card or not. I need the offline people listed. Be happy it's not a mixed bunch like it used to be!

4.)
No. I'm too used to double clicking a folder to open up the tree and I'm very used to the tree setup that I'd rather not part with it. More windows means more clutter. If anything, make this optional.
I'm not saying the current setup of inventory is perfect, I would like some changes to make it more versatile and easy.

5.)
Yep, I asked for this too =)

6.)
Agreed!

7.)
Agreed!

8.)

9.)
Agreed! Bug reports needs "building" as a category. However since our bug reporter is gone, well, blah.

10.)
Agreed!

11.)
Good idea.

12.)
Explain please.

13.)
I agree, but only when the world is larger. For now, I think our stipends, which gain money from the pool which fills up by taxes/teleportation costs/etc. are in need of the teleportation money.

I know my post is sorta unorthodox but I figured you might like to see the views of other people :D

K Dave thx for the feedback :-)

#4 Is ment as like an option. Kinda like the Mac interface in OS9. You hit the + and the tree opens. You double click and a new window opens.

#12 Is basically A menu that popsup after you hit take or take copy that shows a list of all your inventory folders. Then you click the folder you want the item saved to.

This would stop all the oject folder clutter :-) not to mention my ever expanding textures folder.

And thinking of this, maybe also give us the option of renaming the object/texture after selecting the folder. so we dont end up with 100 objects and 100 New Textures.

:-) :-)

Only if you have their calling card though, you aren't supposed to be able to track people without their card. I'm a curmudgeon... :)

Tru, but in scripting its possable to track anyone.

I have a map that Xavier made and Alondria edited that can track anyone within range approx. 2/3 of a sim in radius of the scripted map. So adding this to the mini map would only make it easier but the same.

I still don't want everyone to know who I am until they get close enough to see me. If someone is clever enough to write a script then fine, whatever, I have a radar dish or two spinning myself, but why deliberately make it easy to chip away at the need for a calling card?
