When I click on a link from an email about a response from a thread, I am taken to that post.

If I then try to go to the event calendar, I can not. I have to go to the log in page and log in.

Is this set up this way for security, or is this something that can be fixed?

A minor issue, but I think one less log in is a good thing...

I think I know why: The main SL page and the forums use the exact same Flash piece up top. That Flash is referring to the event calendar locally; i.e. /community/login/splash.php becomes http://www.whateverserverit'son.com/community/login/splash.php .

The problem is that the forums are on a different domain than the actual event calendar (which is at secondlife.com). So, clicking on it from the forums leads you to http://forums.secondlife.com/community/login/splash.php ... which doesn't exist.
