Did I get yer attention? <g>
What I'd like to see is an option to stay in "away" mode until I uncheck it. As it is right now, I can't switch to another application without taking myself out of away mode, because the instant my mouse moves or I hit a key, BAMMO! I'm back from away-land.
No, I don't want to use busy mode. I -want- to come back and be able to see what IM's I've been sent and/or what's been said while I've been away from client.

LOL! You start your second life being away if you don't touch your mouse for more than 3 seconds, and now you complain that it's hard to stay being away. Ironic  And, seconded

How bout making a little poster board with string and hang it around your neck saying "be back when I feel like it, but if you try and communicate with me right now you'll get zippidy doo daa for your efforts." or something like that. How is that any different from an official away?
